Dynamic and rich, this still life only seems as an escape to Wonderland. In reality, it is only an excursion outside Paola Minekov’s visual language, even though the essential traits such as chromatic harmony and the geometric setting are all present. We might see this work as a trip to Modernism, perhaps the time of Cubism and Art Deco, an entertaining and masterly exercise in painting.
