Bronze Statue

Abstracted from the racing scene of the racing chariot with two horses, this representation of the scene offers a more diagrammatic solution. One charioteer harnessed one horse, reducing one of the great ancient themes to its very essence. This piece is a subtle homage to the many heroes or gods of the antiquity, as well as to all the artists who have rendered the subject over the centuries.
