Acrylic on Paper, 30X40CM, unframed
Named after one of the most typical colours in the artist’s oeuvre, "Still Life in Blue" is another venture into the associative abstraction. While the subject is recognizable, it only plays the auxiliary part to the entire painterly process, in which the colour, composition, and geometry play the main role. Even though blue tones are hardly predominant in this work, they are the highlighting point, enough to carry the entire piece and its message.
