A late return to the origin of the series is embodied in this work. Midnight Dancers captivates with rich violet hues but keeps the triangular composition of its predecessor, here inverted. Facets are now long gone, angular figures create the energy, but the strokes take it across the recognisable diagonals radiating from the centre. The composition is more subtle, yet exciting, while the focus is placed on colour.
